Tim felt the baby move for the first time last night. I returned home from a long weekend in Illinois visiting my family, and we were lying in bed catching up. The blueberry has been moving more–or more accurately, the movements are getting stronger so I feel them more–but Tim had never caught her mid-kick.
When I felt her move last night, I placed Tim’s hand on my belly. We waited a few seconds and sure enough, she did it again. And strong enough for Tim to feel it, too. Hooray! It was a sweet moment, and I’m excited to have that milestone under our belt. I’m glad Tim could experience just a sampling of what I’ve been experiencing. Feeling her move has been such a delight and it’s proof that there is a living, independent being in there.
As I mentioned in this post, I was out of town for the Easter weekend. Unbeknownst to me, my parents no longer have wi-fi at their house. Therefore, I’m a bit behind in my blogging. Stay tuned though, the posts are beginning to pile up, if only in my brain.
